NASCAR Bunnies

So last night, after a hard, long day, I was inspired by this story about a Japanese woman who DJs at night after work - at eighty-two years old.

I still ate the boys' Zebra Cakes and went to bed, but I was inspired.
Today I ran to Kroger for some staples. For one more quick Easter craft, my list included some Golden Oreos, Twinkies, Bunny Peeps, and pretzels. I was hoping to get the boys unto making some NASCAR bunnies.
There are several different options online for the body of the car, and I really like these Swiss Roll creations.

But I decided on Little Debbie Strawberry Shortcake rolls with blue Peeps. I broke the top layer, and the filling secured the pretzel steering wheel and the driver. The rolls are a bit flatter than a Twinkie, so it came out looking a bit like a tractor. Works for me!

But if you're still thinking NASCAR, I ran into these great Hot Wheels Easter Eggs:

I was able to get the boys interested in eating the Peeps.
And my oldest said he was going to run a restaurant like Tiana in "Princess and the Frog." But this is what he got when I suggested he place the cookies to each side and "press gently:"

But can they ever build a tower!
